Each beautiful insect is handcrafted in porcelain and handpainted.  They go through mulitple firings to attain the beautiful metallic lustre.  Each bug is unique.

Matthew's shell may seem blue/violet in the photo, but it appears like an oil slick sheen in person.  He's very shiny and vibrant.

These four bugs are extra large and their frames are 21.25cm square.  As these are deep frames, they can be placed on a surface, or hung on a wall.
