Each beautiful bug is handcrafted in porcelain and hand painted.  They go through multiple firings to attain the beautiful metallic lustre.

Walter's thorax is dark blue/violet metallic in colour with a sheen similar to an oil slick. His abdomen has a red/violet metallic lustre.

Frames measure 16.25cm square.
